I am using 2013 Mac Book Por with 15.0 Crossover and Dec 14, 2015 steam client. For some reason, I cannot download new games. At first I had an error regarding insufficient disk space, but I cleared up space and continue to have the problem despite numerous restarts and choosing different download servers. I can still play old games I have downloaded and the old games sync to cloud when I am finished.
Any ideas how to get the downloads to go past 'starting' . It stays at 0 bytes...
Update: I notice Steam crashes every time I try to install while creating the local config file. After the crash, when steam is restarted, it remains stuck at the download. Apparently the local config file is never correctly created and thus will not download. I have tried both very small games (25 megabytes) and large...same result with both. Steam crashes after a minute or so trying to create config file. No progress is shown. Any help is appreciated.
