Will I be able to use an Apple SuperDrive (CD/DVD) to install a Windows program on my Mac via Crossover?

I plan to install Quicken 2014 (Premier). I have only the CD version.
I noted that a USB device is not always recognized in Crossover - will I be able to install a windows program from CD using Crossover?

Yes, doing a basic installation from a CD should work fine. Not all USB devices are recognized and some programs (mostly older games) use a form of DRM where the CD needs to be insterted into the drive for the game to work. That form of DRM does not work in CrossOver on the Mac.

In general, though, installing a Windows program from CD media works as expected.

Thank you.
