I just migrated from an Intel Mac mini to the new M1 Mac mini. A Windows app (DeedMapper) that had been working just fine on the old machine now gives a "CLR error: 80004005" on launch; the error is fatal. I gather than this error has to do with .NET library conflicts, but if so, why didn’t it occur before? Also, I tried creating a more bare-bones bottle, and the error still occurs. I'm running CrossOver 20.0.2 under OS 11.0.1.
There are unfortunately some known issues with .NET installation on M1 hardware with macOS 11.0.1 . We were able to test on the 11.1 public beta, and confirmed that we don't see the issues there.
Thanks so much! I installed the beta and my app works now.
