Im new to Cross over, and i have follows the tutorials word for word. I have pylotro installed and running and i have patched everything.
I get to log in using pylotro and it gets to the loading screen, then crashes. Iv tried everything in the past 3 hours. And im all out of solutions. The game istelf (before loading screen) runs perfect, the intro everything looks supurb. But as i say after this and it loads it freezes and i have to reboot my mac to get off the screen.
Im hoping you guys can help as iv been trying all day.

First off, you are in the wrong forum. You should be posting in the LOTRO forum...
I realize that the CodeWeavers bulletin board system can be more than slight obtuse, so here's the drill...
At the compatibility screen (click on the "Compatibility" heading) then search for "Lord of the Rings Online:Siege of Mirkwood"
(Yeah, if you didn't know it in advance, it IS hard to guess...)
Second. Since you posted here, I assume that which ever tutorial you followed was out of date. The only valid tutorials are located under Tips and Tricks on that main page.
Third, and the most important starting point for success...
You need to use CrossOver GAMES (aka CXG), not CrossOver Mac or CrossOver Pro! It is a different and separate download.
The current version is 9.1
Once you switch to CXG, check out the Video Memory tip. You may or may not need it, but you probably will.
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
