I am a hang glider pilot and would like to run a small Windows program called FlyChart on my Mac. It can read data from my flying instrument. But a driver needs to be installed first for Windows to recognise the instrument.
Will it be possible to run the software (and install the driver) and connect to the instrument via USB when using Crossover?
CrossOver mostly provides an interface between Windows applications and the OS, making the OS seem like Windows at that layer. It does not really provide an interface between drivers and the OS, which is at a different layer.
It has minimal capability to load certain kinds of drivers, but it's really limited.
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
