I got Crossover specifically to load 4 Windows programs on my Mac, and Crossover can't seem to do any of them. One is Note Tab Light, which is supposed to go OK but gets halfway then just sits there.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi,
That's a bit strange -- I just installed NoteTab Light using Crossover 9.1
on both Mac and linux and didn't encounter any problem ; the app installation
completed successfully and NoteTab seems to run quite well. The Mac is the newer
iMac 11,2 with OSX 10.6.4 installed. I could get you to expound on the install
method you are using, or else let us know exactly which version of Crossover/OSX
you are using just to be sure we are both on 'the same page'... however....
..this might be easier -- I notice C4 actually has a page for NoteTab Pro...see;
http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=1399
The entry itself is woefully old and neglected, however it's probably within
bounds for me to do a C4P installation profile on that page for NoteTab Light
-- that way, if you (or anyone else) is using Crossover 9.0 or better, the
installation process can be 1 click simple.
Do note, the C4P install profile is unlikely to become visible/active for another
3 or 4 hours from the time of this posting (have to wait for the Codeweavers crew
to arrive at work and approve it 8), but once it is switched on you might try the
C4P installer and let me know how it goes?
As for the other apps you have there, it's always best to search C4 to see if an
entry for them also exists....see;
http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/search/
If no page already exists, please let us know which other apps you have...
Cheers!
edit: well, I didn't see any of the Codeweavers Ninjas about in the hours since I
posted here -- they were probably awfully busy with something else. Now that it's
the weekend, the C4P profile probably won't be active until Monday. If you would like
to try it before than, let me know and I'll email you a copy.
