Does Grim Dawn work with crossover?

Anyone tested this? want to get it but dont want to spend 25 if it wont work, Thanks

I don't know if Grimdawn works, sorry, but you can use the trial version of CrossOver to test it out :)
Or you could do a search and find

:)

Already have crossover just wondering if anyone has tried to play it and whether it runs.

It takes a bit of tinkering but yes, I've a 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro with crossover and did get it to work.

Here's a helpful thread in regards to making it work.

We had an initial problem where upon trying to open the program it seemed to get stuck trying to install the .NET 4 framework so we installed the .NET 4 framework into the steam bottle via crossover (which itself didn't work).

Then we found this thread (woohoo!)

The only part of that thread that we have needed so far was copying the .reg file provided and importing that into the registry. Our comments on the thread are the Bobdylan401 comments

Another one of our party for tests sake tried using the .reg file without downloading the .NET framework into the steam bottle which was sufficient to get the game to start. Once we've logged some hours we'll probably come back and give an update.

.

Thanks I actually found a wrapper for it on portingteam.com that worked perfectly no tinkering necessary!
