I have found a locked thread about this problem which hasn't had any solution yet.
I am actualy trying the latest version of crossover mac, and I am willing to buy it on one condition : if it can fully work with teamspeak.
The problem is :
I can successfuly bind a key to the "push to talk" command, and speak with others but ONLY when the teamspeak window is on top (meaning I am selecting it)
As soon as I click out of the windows and start playing for exemple, the key does not work anymore. Meaning I have to endlessly switch between the game and the teamspeak window in order to speak !!!
I would love to find a solution on that problem and will for sure buy crossover just for that, as teamspeex (mac version of teamspeak) does not work on snow leopard and does not support channel commander options (as well as speaking to only a part of the players in the channel)
I think that's a really tricky problem regarding event handling, and sending events to inactive windows. I don't know the details, but according to some discussion I have followed on the wine mailing list this won't be easy to fix, and won't be fixed anytime soon unfortunately ☹️
I would just add that voice activation is functional with teamspeack through crossover, meaning that I can play the game and talk without having to switch between windows, nevertheless this is not handy as I am dual chatting most of the time with skype.
One more time, if someone has a piece of info as to how to solve this, please share.
I have the same issue. So far the only thing Ive found is vice activation does work even when crossover is not the front most window. Does not help with whisper mode, which is what I need.
