I want to use crossover to run a pc printer driver on a MAC. Is this possible? As I have a trial version I cannot ask codeweavers for help and I have no intention of buying the program if it does not do what I need it to do.

No, unfortunately printer drivers aren't supported by CrossOver. There are some ideas in the Wine project to implement that. Technically its certainly possible, but we have no current plans to implement this feature in CrossOver because we have only very few requests for it.
A small caveat: Wine at some point supported 16 bit Windows 3.1 drivers under certain conditions, but this was never integrated into the Linux printing system(read: You could only print from Windows apps, not Linux or Mac apps), and we never marketed this, and I don't think Win16 printer drivers are of any relevance today. I don't think this feature works any longer.
