CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Hey well I recently bought the newest Crossover games and Counter Strike source because I have heard ENDLESS thing about how great this program is. So fine I put down the money and bought it. My friend and I were looking to join a game and after spending 5-8 min spamming tab+shift it wouldn't go into the in game community window! Is this a common problem to fix? If its not fixable I will be extremely disappointed because thats the only reason I bought Crossover Games. I don't use any other programs and the whole point of steam was to be able to play some Counter Strike and Team Fortress with my friends.

Did I waste my money?

Steam in-game stuff doesn't work, no. It uses a special code-injection method that only works on Windows (and, possibly, is a bit hacky even then).

There's no reason you and your friend cannot join a CS:S server and play together, though, as CS:S is fully supported.

However, if, as you say, you are disappointed with your purchase and would rather have a refund, I'm sure CodeWeavers will honour that with no fuss, if you ask them.

For future reference, you're posting in the Crossover Mac section, and you probably wanted the Steam forum for more chance of your post being seen by the right person.
