A bottle being "Ready" does not necessarily mean there is anything running in it. CrossOver is not like a virtual machine software, where the VM is "running" so long as it's open or ready.
You only need to shut a bottle down if you have launched some Windows program in that bottle and you want to tell that program to quit.
There's no need to make a bottle shut down and "stay" shut down.
