I am using the CrossOver Demo right now, and I am very impressed. Checking compatibility first before plunking down the money for it, but I am sure I will, since Deus Ex works... :D
However, i bought a Star Wars bundled pack, includes Jedi Knight, Knights of the Old Republic, Battle Front, and two others. I was mainly interested in jedi knight and KOTOR, they install and seem to work fine, but it keeps telling me that I don't have the DVD in the drive when I do.
Jedi knight ended up working when i put the wrong DVD in the drive (it came in a two DVD pack) for some reason, but KOTOR never worked. I also have Jedi Academy and it gives me the same NO CD error, though the program seems to work. Any suggestions?
My money's on a copy protection system not working in Crossover. Fairly common as a lot of copy protection schemes rely on really low-level stuff that's not replicated in Wine. Maybe winehq.org has more details?

CrossOver Forums: the place to discuss running Windows applications on Mac and Linux
We're rebels. We're misfits. But mostly, we're software liberators. And we're very, very good at what we do. We have to be. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. We invented CrossOver software - a unique approach to cross-platform compatibility that does not require dual-boot or another OS license. We launched PortJump to help app and game developers broaden their market beyond Windows® users. And we launched ExecMode to help organizations solve really ugly technical challenges.
