High CPU usage when idle

I installed Keepass2 2.28 in a bottle, on OSX 10.9.5, running crossover 14.1.3. All works quite well. I have the following problem:

From time to time, when I haven't used the program for some time, CPU usage goes to 100%.
I usually discover when my computer fan starts spinning. It is the crossover app, not the keepass2 app that is shown to
use the CPU. The solution then is quite easy: I just click on the crossover app and on the keepass2 app to bring them to the
foreground. Once they have focus, CPU usage goes down, till it happens again.

This has been a problem for quite a few crossover versions (and actually was one of the reasons I upgraded....)

Same thing happens here with nothing running being run on Crossover. Just had it in the background. After brought to focus, then no more high CPU shown for Crossover.
