CrossOver problems

So I tried this program like 3 or 4 years ago and it worked perfectly fine, and since it was so long time ago I completely forgot about how it works. So now when I install the trial version and open the application it gives me 3 options: Buy now, Register now and Try now. When I simply click "Try now" and start the application, 3 things can happen. It's either one or the other:

The first one is that it immediately opens a window which says "Shutting down bottles" and shows me a list of the previous "bottles" I've made before. After 20 seconds or less CrossOver shuts down.

The second one is that nothing happens, so I simply go to "Open application" in order to open or install an application and after I've chosen an application nothing happens.

The third one is that when I click "install application" and select "other application" in order to install something else other than what's in the list, and then click "select installer" then this "shutting down bottles" that I mentioned in the first example pops up and then CrossOver shuts down.

Anyone know how to help me? I just wanted to try the trial version to see if it works and then buy the software just to make sure it works. And now I'm kinda hesitating since it's not working for me.

It sounds like something isn't working as it is supposed to.  What version of OS X are you running?

Yosemite was released last year... so did you migrate in your user account?

What version of CrossOver is on your system? You should be able to right click on the icon and choose 'Get Info" to get the version number.
