I am running a new program for the first time and I get this error. It says that it has failed to load control of Windows Media Player. My version of wmp.dll may be outdated.
How do I fix this?
I'm not sure where to begin-- if the problem is the software program, CrossOver or the bottle I've chosen (Windows 8).
The program is Action PC Football 2017. I have successfully run the 2012 version without problem.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
