When I open a folder with Windows exe files, the macOS 10.15 gatekeeper goes into overdrive mode and complains that the exe files can't be verified. Is there any way to turn this off? It's highly annoying :(
Especially as it starts doing this when I browse a folder with Total Commander running in Crossover...
I'm having the same issue. Normally with a native Mac app, the system preferences security pane will display an override option in Catalina, which would then close and reopen the alert window allowing you to proceed. With CrossOver, this does not happen.
I usually solve this issue by Ctrl-left clicking the exe file, and selecting "open" while keeping the Ctrl key pressed.
The same screen shown by the OP appears, but if you repeat the process (open with Ctrl-click), a new window will appear, where you have the option to launch the file.
After that, no more security warnings appear.
