I have strange issue with Crossover 21 Macbook 14 inc M1 Pro and this game. I installed C&C Generals from Origin in a Win 7 bottle. I also installed DirectX 9. In one case it works fine and in the other it doesn't:
I connect an external display and mirror it with the internal one (resolution: 3200x1333 on both) => works fine
Only internal display connected (standard resolution: 1512x982) => C&C generals throws the Error message: Please make sure that you have DirectX 8.1 or higher install ...
Does anybody know a solution to play it, when only connected the internal display?
