To play Starcraft smoothly on my Mac, I had to change directdrawrenderer in the registry to value opengl, which worked fine for Crossover Games before 7.2. But now with 7.2 this seems to be broken, Starcraft launches in fullscreen as usual, but instead of graphics I just see a white screen.
When I delete the registrykey, the graphics reappear, but really really slow (which was the reason to set directdrawrenderer to opengl, as supposed in forum).
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Starcraft is latest version.
Unfortunately this was exactly the thread I took my information about the registry keys from. For the "old" CrossOver games 7.1 it worked (when I did not use RenderTargetLockMode, only DirectDrawRenderer=opengl, because I have an 2006 iMac with ATI X1600 and no nVidia card), but after updating to 7.2 made Starcraft just show a white screen, but sound, mouse and keyboard work. Windowed mode also does not work, same problem, but window is black and not white. I think I have to downgrade to 7.1 and hope that the bottle still works with 7.1.
