It seems that there is no international-English currency support in version 6, as even Microsoft Excel stays stuck in dollars and the US date format. I am in the UK and wanting to use MS Excel and am trying to get the currency and date to show right.
Maybe some forum readers would switch their OSX International preference pane to a non-US English (say UK) and see what happens to date and currency in Crossover (relaunching Crossover after switch)? The currency should become £ and the date format should become dd/mm/yyyy (eg 31/12/2007). No effect for me.
However, switching language does have the effect of switching both the currency and date formats (try using German in OSX International* - software in Crossover will switch to Euros). And no, "Custom" settings don't work either, if English is involved in the choices.
Maybe I am missing something 😊
Thanks, all!
Guy
*It is easy to switch back to English, just look for the International flag in the System preferences.
