Really depends on your use case. It doesn’t come installed by default. Some games will call for it, others won’t and some will install it as part of the installer.
Is there something you’re trying to run specifically?
You can install “DirectX for Modern Games” into any bottle. In most cases it’s not needed but it never hurts to have it installed. It takes up very little additional space and if it isn’t needed it won’t get called. If it were up to me, it would be a default part of very bottle.
