Wurm Assistant 3 > Granger issues

Hey there. I'm running into some minor issues with Wurm Assistant 3 and thought I'd check here to see if anyone has any advice on getting it working 100%.

WA is a selection of tools for use with the mmorpg Wurm Online, but I'm just interested in one of the components - Granger. I can get this to mostly work, but there are some display issues I'd like to get sorted.

Here's what I've done and a few screenshots of the issues.

1) Created a Windows 7 32-bit bottle (I've tried 64-bit and Win 10 with no improvement, so sticking with Win 7 32-bit, guessing it''d be the simplest to get working properly)

2) The only prereqs noted are .NET 4.5 and C++ 2010 and I've installed both.

(Also tried Core Fonts and MSXML 3, 4 and 6 SP2, but these haven't made any difference in the issues I'm having. I have added the reg entry to disable Mac windows decorations.)

When launching the app, it starts up ok and I can configure the path to the WO install, but the first display issue presents itself: the launcher window has no visible contents, though hovering the mouse over where buttons should be displayed gives the pop-up text and they are clickable, as seen here:

If I launch the Granger component, it mostly works, but the table that lists animals opens by default with 'groups', and these aren't working and I can't sort while groups are enabled. I need to disable groups to be able to sort, as seen here:

Neither issue is a biggie, but I'd thought I'd come here to see if anyone has any advice to get it fully working.

A couple of notes:

  • Installing .NET 4.7.2 or 4.8 allows the launcher to display properly, though Granger grouping still doesn't work. If I resize the launcher, I see some errors, but I'm at a loss even after Googling:

  • Using VMware Fusion, I installed a bare bones Win 7 32-bit Home Edition PC and installed the same two prerequisites and all works perfectly, including grouping, which should look like this:

Am I missing some components or is this just as good as it's going to get with Crossover on Mac? Any ideas?
