I have an app, FreeScan, that requires a serial connection. I have the drivers (PL2303) loaded and the USBSERIAL dongle appears in /dev OK (cu.usbserial1 and tty.usbserial1) and I have symlinked these into dosdevices (as COM1 and COM2, I also tried COM1: and COM2:) but the program doesn't see any COM ports.
Before I spend any more cash on Crossover I'd like some assurance that I will get this to work. I'm currently running 17.0.
Has anyone had success getting this setup to work?
