I have a rather specific setup, I’m running LiveSplit via CrossOver and would like to run an autosplitter. In order for this to work I need to let LiveSplit see OBS. There’s a drop down option that says “OBS Window Capture” but when selected, it just displays a message saying “video disconnected”. Essentially it needs to be able to view my OBS but can’t.
Another method would to run a virtual cam from OBS but again, I can get LiveSplit via CrossOver to see this.
Is there anyway to get them to talk/see each other?
Many thanks for any help!

It seems it needs a DirectShow source. It might be possible to set up a DirectShow source filter that can pull from an RTMP stream that you could configure OBS to stream to, or perhaps the HLS feed for your stream if you are streaming online. I don't know the details of how to set that up, though.

Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.

We're rebels. We're misfits. But mostly, we're software liberators. And we're very, very good at what we do. We have to be. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. We invented CrossOver software - a unique approach to cross-platform compatibility that does not require dual-boot or another OS license. We launched PortJump to help app and game developers broaden their market beyond Windows® users. And we launched ExecMode to help organizations solve really ugly technical challenges.
