I'm try to install an XP version of appleworks on mountain lion. installation goes smoothly until the installer doesn't find an installation of quicktime (4.1 or higher).
the quicktime installer is on this disk.
i'm new to crossover mac. how do i install quicktime so the appleworks installer see quicktime and finshes the installation?

Figured it out:
Installed Quicktime 5 in a new bottle. Then installed Appleworks 6.2.9. in the same bottle.
Appleworks works well. It creates and opens documents and prints. The are only two glitches: There's no blinking cursor visible showing your location in the document; and the icons strobe when Appleworks first starts and when navigating through a pull-down menu.
