Some info first: I'm runing CrossOver 12.5.1
My Mac: 2,4 GHz Intel Core Duo, 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, OS X 10.6.8
I could finally play RIFT, after I installed it via CrossOver and did not try to use the gamessoftware I had downloaded from the site myself.
The grafic is not good, but since patch 2.4 it is worse, the screen freezes every few minutes for a second or two. The support tells me, that I probably need a new driver for my grafic card, but I couldn't find any. I never heard, that you need to look for a new driver when using a Mac (except for printer and other periphery). Should I insist on looking a bit better into the matter? I found here another thread though which says, that the new version of CrossOver runs not well with RIFT, has that changed now?
