Since they have become quite popular with Macs I was wondering if there are plans to implement eGPU support in Crossover, or if this is something that isn't possible with Wine?
I was told that Crossover doesn't currently support eGPU's, but now I am confused as to what Crossover actually uses to accelerate graphics? For instance, in my scenario I have my eGPU connected to my Macbook via Thunderbolt 3, and the eGPU is in turn connected to 2 external monitors (When connected to the eGPU I close the Macbook since I don't typically use that screen). I have one of these monitors set to my main display, so theoretically everything running on this display would be accelerated by my eGPU right? Including Crossover and its subsequent Bottles / wine applications... or am I completely misunderstanding how Crossover utilizes graphics? Any clarification would be awesome :)
