Hey all .. great product, glad I purchased. Thank you!

Question for anyone that is more fluent in crossover/wine than me...

I've installed WarSim into my Steam Bottle. The game is a text/ascii based rpg. When I run from steam I hear it but can't see it. I have to kill the process. If I open a cmd shell, cd to the steam directory and run from command line, either directly or with Start Warsim, it runs fine. When I use Start Warsim it spawns into a new cmd window, if I run directly it uses the cmd window I'm in.

This is great and all, but why isn't it working direct from steam and is there an easier way to start the game without having to cmd, cd <long ass directory>, start warsim.exe ??

What happens if you try to run it in CrossOver by right-clicking the launcher and selecting "Run with options"? This can sometimes have a different outcome than double clicking the launcher to run an applications.

run with options has same behavior as double-click or when running via steam link. it definitely needs some sort of terminal window before starting the program, though not sure how that is handled in the wine sub-system. feels like a stdout thing..
