I tried to run gog version of Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight on Crossover 21.1 on M1 mac.
When I Launch the game, I can see the icon on the dock but literally nothing hapens, not even black window or something.
Protondb says the game works fine on proton,
and there is a 4 star report on Crossover that it runs well on Crossover 20 for linux.
The game seems like it’s based on unreal engine 4 and doesn’t specifies any required Directx version on minimum requirements.
Is this known issue for unreal engine games or is it crossover for mac specific issues?
Any solutions or planed fix?
I took a look at this game, and unfortunately it uses geometry shaders. Geometry shaders are not supported by Metal (Apple's graphics API), so there's nothing we can do on our end to get this game running on macOS :/
