CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Hey:
I have started using Crossover 22 on Mac Monterey.

Any idea how to connect my Xbox Wireless Controller with Crossover?
I can't play with my Controller with any game on Crossover.

I have tried General controller settings on Steam but it's empty (check screenshot).

Any ideas?

i have the same issue with a dual sense 5 controller. I can use it as a regular controller in games but i can't see any text in steam's controller configuration screen. Any know workaround to get this text to show ?

No luck yet :(

I did these steps:

• Before opening the bottle I did what the post told me to do
• I created a bottle containing "Steam"
• I installed Stardew Valley
• The controller is not being detected

I'm connecting my Xbox Wireless Controller through Bluetooth.
I'm running macOS Monterey on Apple M1 Max.
I can use the controller with games in Apple Arcade.

Any more ideas?

Wasn't a Crossover 22 issue. For me it was an issue with the libsdl2.dylib file. I updated the libsdl2.dylib file and put it in the /Applications/Stardew\ Valley.app/Contents/MacOS. For GOG games. For Steam ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS.

Once the updated libsdl2.dylib was replaced the controller worked fine.
