Need to open EXE file!

I have a 64bit version of Linux installed on my Chromebook, solely for the purpose of opening this file. On overkill it is their windows bms application in their downloads tab. So far I have tried tinkering with bottles, installers, Wine, etc to no avail. I have the file inside of my Linux downloads but I am unable to get it open. (I've never opened anything on Linux before mind you). I have installed an update I do believe (for Linux). And Ive been searching all around for methods to get this working. (I also have the trial version of Crossover just so you know).

My route taken was basically to install it and then run it, but I ran into some big issues with "installers" and "bottles". And I read that Wine would be the only thing really able to open it, so I installed that, but im not sure if it worked and it was even harder to type in the right command to get the file to open through wine inside of Linux.
Please help! If I can get this file running I'll be able to put electricity into my 100 degree van that I stay in ASAP! Thank you for your brain power and understanding!

Go to Crossover, make a new bottle, press "Run Command", and select the .exe file for the launcher/installer/application
