I have successfully installed office on my system, and while word/power point in general work they are relatively slow.
1) Opening file dialog to save in word is slow (~5-10 seconds sometimes more)
2) switching between ribbon tabs (for-example switching between home and insert tabs takes 1-2 seconds)
3) adding figures also seems to slow it down abit.
Although typing does not lag, and for my work flow this would be okay, it is still frustrating. Anyone had any luck improving performance (seems to be really an issue with graphical performance, maybe)?
It is slow the first time you move to a new tab, but much faster subsequently, so it looks like the delay is in loading DLLs, but once they are cached, performance is better. This behaviour does not look like graphics.
