The main game works fine, but both expansion fail with the message that "l3codecx.ax" cannot be found, despite the fact that I have put in in the proper folder in the bottle and added the exception.

Nevermind. I got the game to run by going to 'run command' and typing "$wine regsvr32 l3codecx.ax" to register the dll. Now the expansions load and run just fine.
