Is the reason BF3 doesn't work something that is sumountable, or is it one of those things where the app is too closely coupled to the Windows OS for it to work in Wine?
I believe it is, unfortunately, too coupled with Windows. It's probably because Frostbite 2 was built around it.
And the problem is if you want to play online you need Origin, BF3 and use you web browser. this is very hard to do in a bottle and make all programs work with each other.
