OmniPage 17 doesn't run normally (see
About My Rating), but I'm not one to take No for an answer. In CrossOver's Program menu, I found an OP Batch Manager...which - along with PDF Create! 5 - works!
With the Batch Manager, I tried creating a job, and the first time I ran it, one of my responses while it was running caused it to hang. But the next time, it succeeded in converting a PDF into an RTF 200 format.
Three years later, I use CrossOver 13.1.2 on OS X 10.9.2 and often find that if I use the OP Batch Manager to convert a PDF image file (created by OS X's Image Capture or similar) to a searchable PDF + Text file, the file size shrinks by at least half.
I can consistently access some OP functionality via the Batch Manager, and newer Windows software came bundled with my new Brother MFC, so I hope to access even more capabilities.
