just a general qeustion for hints and tip

a have a unsupported game
it installs fine
no error running from dvd
opening video and game setting windows full screen just fine
but when i go to game play

the game is small in the lefthand upper corner like a splits screen it resizes just a bit
when using the ingame video options but stay in ther left upper corner
but the game icon compass and weapons are left under en right under
so that use full screen but the gamefield does not

any ideas

i cannot really find the correct term to search for answers in the forums

In general, using the in-game switch to "full screen" causes problems.

The game talks to CXG (WINE) not to your video card (And virtually every Mac model has a different video system.)
Consequently, your game may be trying to do things which CXG is either not capable of doing or is interpreting incorrectly. This is especially true of DX10, which is not supported.

In the left column... select "Compatibility" select "Browse Apps" -- the list defaults to alphabetically.
Find your game then look at "Tips & Tricks" for that game.

I highly recommend that you try a virtual desktop.
