Install weirdness?

Hi all,
Just testing this and I have a few questions. I tried installing 3dmark and steam. For both the install never ends even though the apps run. I see this:

But the apps don't appear anywhere to run manually (I assume they appear under program menu?) nor do they appear in the "wizard" interface:

I have to go to File -> Open, browse to the steam.exe and then use "open with steam" for it to run. I assume this isn't normal?

Finally, how do I delete apps/bottles? 3dmark had errors installing but appears 3 times in my interface, not sure how to remove them/clean them out:
