I'm trying to install our companies software on my mac using crossover (trial version)
When I start the program I enter a username and password
Then (on a fresh install of the program) it will ask for the location of the database (using sql express 2005)
ON windows I type in "mpserver/acs" without quotes which if I would go to explorer it would be "//mpserver/acs"
What should I type on the mac?
I'm able to use the program in parallels.
Was just curious if it would work on my mac via wine.
On the linux forums it looked like someone suggested mapping the drive but it doesn't appear to work correctly in corssover for mac. I can't map anything.
Got any ideas? Everything else about the program appears to be functioning correctly...
I think you'll need to mount the drive manually first in the Mac OS, and then you can go into Crossover's Configure menu, Manage Bottles, Control Panels, winecfg and add the drive share that's mounted in the Mac OS. That might may it visible to the program in Crossover.
