Notepad++ | Opening a text file on Mac by double-click

I installed Crossover Version 22.0.1 on top of macOS Monterey Version 12.6. Then installed Notepad++ via Crossover. Is there a way to double click a text file via Finder on the Mac to open it via Notepad++ or to drag & drop that text file into running Notepad++ window?

Please note that I am able to navigate on Notepad++'s menus to open an existing text file on Mac, which appears under 'Y:' drive. My query is regarding to practicality purpose.

You can right click or 2nd click on a file you are trying to edit and go to 'Open with' and search for Notepad++. The first time you do it in Mac it will say something like "It's not known if this application can open "file name" but then you can open it through Finder after that.

Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
