Dark Souls 3 Cinders Mod not working

I am trying to install the Cinders mod for DS3 onto my Mac with Crossover. I am doing everything correctly, but the mod will not work when I run the game. I did the steps correctly on my PC, and everything works fine. Anyone else have this issue with Cinders, or any mod at all?
