Myst V: End of Ages is the fifth and final installment in the Myst adventure game series. The game was developed by Cyan Worlds and published by Ubisoft; the title was released for both Macintosh and Windows PC platforms on September 20, 2005. As with previous games in the series, End of Ages tasks players with traveling across worlds known as Ages via the use of special books, solving puzzles and uncovering the story through clues and journals.
Myst V was positively received upon release; Gamespot said that the game sent the series out on a bang, not a whimper.
