Full version of Paint Shop Pro 7.04 10th Anniversary edition. Installed using Crossover Linux standard version 6.1.0, running under Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy.
Most functions appear to work OK except for the Help system which throws up an error message and crashes. Toolbar customisation (additional icons etc) is not retained on restart - everything reverts to the default layout - but tool settings are retained.
The graphics in some toolboxes - e.g. Curves - misbehaves slightly, although it is still possible to use the tools.
The browser functions correctly and can be accessed by Control-B. Double-clicking on a thumbnail opens the file as it should. General speed of operation is good.
I have had a glitch with Save As, where it doesn't actually save unless you reselect the file type from the drop-down menu. You can tell if this is happening because the Options button is greyed out. Normal saves work OK.
Overall, the application works pretty well and is very usable. PSP 7 is four years old but has most of the functionality of the newer versions without all the later gimmicks.

We're rebels. We're misfits. But mostly, we're software liberators. And we're very, very good at what we do. We have to be. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. We invented CrossOver software - a unique approach to cross-platform compatibility that does not require dual-boot or another OS license. We launched PortJump to help app and game developers broaden their market beyond Windows® users. And we launched ExecMode to help organizations solve really ugly technical challenges.
